Restorative yoga uses props to support the body so both body and mind can be at ease. This yoga allows you to relax, re-center, heal, and rejuvenate. This class is for everyone. Use restorative poses and breathwork to move from the sympathetic nervous system’s fight or flight state and reclaim the rest and digest state of the parasympathetic nervous system. Limited to 8 people. $20/ class at Free Spirit Yoga

Build a Better Backbend Workshop
Saturday October 19th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Just Plain Yoga
Open to everyone. In this workshop we’ll open our hearts to backbends. Learn to go deeper safely with body alignment, muscle recruitment, and the breath. Take a closer look to discover what makes a better backbend, how to safely move into backbends, and how to modify them with props.
Can count as 2 contact hours of continuing ed. for RYTs
